Eleanor Church

‘The sun came out just when it needed to. We had been in self-isolation for two weeks, adjusting to this new life before the general lockdown had started for everyone else. It felt like a funny time to juggle my work, their happiness, learning and just being together much more than we are usually. They dressed up - why not? - danced in the rays of sun and it felt like the first moment that I had felt relaxed enough to enjoy them enjoying this. We are having more moments like that now as our new confidence grows in this new way of being as a family. But then its snatched away with worries again.’
