These photographs are from a larger series I am working on in St. Elmo, Tennessee (where I live) amongst Covid-19. The collection is over 120 different homes from my neighborhood.
I have been working on a series of window portraits in my neighborhood and Sam told me that Piper loves to swing from their tree while he watches from his smoking chair. It has been their favorite activity over the past few weeks as they have been trying to find new ways to keep busy with everything being closed. I did not provide any direction, but just let them do what they have been. The photograph was made from over 6ft away on a 70-200mm lens to ensure a safe distance.
